Donna has been a Registered Nurse since 1986 and has worked in hospitals, nursing homes, and rehab case management. She is also a mother of two. Donna has been a NETA (National Exercise Trainers Association) certified group fitness instructor for nearly 30 years. She first became a certified personal trainer through the IFPA in 2001 and began training clients in their homes. In 2004 Donna acquired certification through the prestigious NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) studying the Optimal Performance Training model. Donna trains people of all ages and fitness levels. She tells her clients that working out is like brushing her teeth; something that you just don’t skip. While Donna enjoys working out, travel and time with family, she is also an avid cook and is always experimenting with new recipes to enhance both the flavor and nutritional value of the meals she creates. She has been gluten-free since 2010 and understands the importance of having a diet that is healthy and delicious.
